Welcome to my personal webpage. I'd describe myself as a culture-jamming creative goddess in the mundane world, a quiet rebel against consumer society, and a humble student of life. My interests include writing fiction and poetry, gardening, permaculture, sustainable living, natural building, crafting, cooking, baking, music, counted cross-stitch, and web design. I'm a pantheist neopagan of no particular tradition, a geek, a former gamer, and I like to watch birds. I also get a big kick out of the whole concept of edible flowers. I'm a Libra, and true to my nature, I love luxury. But that doesn't have to mean expense. Sometimes it's just a hot shower on a cold winter's night.
My most recent (dating to 2002) online alias is Sundart, a personal tribute to the importance of solar energy and natural ways of living. While I'm still journeying towards a more holistic way of living, I hope to always follow the sun.
I live in Western Massachusetts, in the Pioneer Valley. I was born in Elmira, New York. I like to travel, though I don't do it very often. I've been to Colorado, Florida, Utah, Canada, and once spent a week in Europe in high school.
I tend to be very organized, though I try not to intrude my organization too much into the lives of others unless they seem to appreciate it. But I have a freakish skill at knowing where things are around the house, and I like to sort and straighten. I make lists and check them twice and cross things off.
Between the two of us, my partner and I own a ridiculous amount of books. I mean, maybe it just seems that way whenever we move and I have to put them in boxes again, but it's really a bit excessive. Which is not to say that I could part with a single one of them, because I can't.
