About Carole

Salutations, gentle reader. I offer you a brief snapshot of who I am, as a compliment to what I have created and put on display. You're also welcome to visit my personal webpage, Follow the Sun.

I am a writer, a poet, a sometime web designer, and irrevocably in love with life. I make things. Food, drawings, crafts of all kinds. I grow plants, particularly edible ones. I find most things about life perfectly delightful. Imagine! That there should be such marvels in the world as Braeburn apples, and snow, and music, and chocolate!

There are many things that I am passionate about. Permaculture, and sustainability. Reading and writing fiction. Love. Spirituality. Food is one of the bigger ones - not just that I adore cooking and growing my own vegetables, but my informed resistance to the industrial food industry and factory farms. I eat about 90% vegetarian, and as much organic as I can afford.

I'm a cat person. My favorite color is blue, though I like all the cool colors. I like to send postcards through the mail. I know how to play the trumpet, though I don't do it often enough to be as good as I used to be. I climb trees, and blow bubbles when the mood strikes me, and don't have any plans to grow out of either habit. I start more projects than I finish. But I keep the half-done ones around. Who knows? I might catch up with myself someday.
